What I do for Fun

Scott has been cycling from early on when he raced BMX bikes in Marin County, CA. It was in these early years where Scott also experimented with bike innovation as he removed some parts from his 10-speed bike to create a 2 speed BMS bike. I guess you could say that was the beginnings of mountain biking.

  • Scott has completed multiple Multiple Sclerosis (MS) 150 rides in California and Colorado.
  • He has also completed 11 Ride the Rockies which are week long cycling events across the Colorado Rocky Mountains that typically include 400-500 miles of distance and 20-30,000 feet of elevation gain.
  • Scott was also a member of a 4 man team that holds the record for fastest team to cycle 200 miles.

Today, Scott cycles for fun and to enjoy the outside.

Scott has also participated in 29 triathlons from full ironman to sprint distances races across the United States. Many of those events Scott was able to place in top ten finishes within his age group. During his triathlon adventures he also was part of a group of men that start a 501c3 non-profit, Multisport Ministries, which was a way for Christian men triathletes to have a faith based fellowship to support each other. Check out the newly started group The Kings Wheelmen.

Since Scott was a child he has been around fishing in one way or another. Over his life he has had the opportunity to sport fish in the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean. He has also fished across the western United States. Scott’s go to is fly fishing, and being located in Northern Colorado provides him with plenty of opportunities to get away for an afternoon or day on the river.
